4D Guides

Plain-language guides to reading published 4D results across Malaysia and the region.

Welcome to the Keputusan4D guide library — a plain-language set of explainers for reading and verifying published 4D results. We built this library because reading a result board well is a small skill in itself: knowing which sections a board has, what the Big and Small labels mean, when each operator usually publishes, and how to confirm a number against its source. The guides below cover all of that in English, with the same content available in Malay and Chinese. Keputusan4D is an independent results reference — not an operator and not affiliated with any official operator — so everything here is about reading published numbers and checking them, never about taking part.

Start here if you're new to 4D results

If you are new to reading 4D boards, begin with the basics: what a published result is, and how to read one from top to bottom. These two guides give you everything you need to read any operator's board with confidence.

  • What Is 4D? — what a published 4D result is, who publishes one, and the difference between a draw and a published result.
  • How to Check 4D Results — a step-by-step walkthrough of reading a board, checking the status, finding an earlier date and verifying against the source.

Understanding result boards

Once you can find a board, these guides explain how it is laid out — the named sections, the twenty-three positions, the Big and Small display labels, and the words you'll see on screen.

  • 4D Result Sections — the top three positions plus the Special and Consolation sections that make up the 23 published numbers.
  • Big & Small in 4D — what the Big (Besar) and Small (Kecil) display labels show, and why they are layout labels only.
  • 4D Result Status — what Waiting, Live and Final mean, and why it is worth waiting for the Final board.
  • 4D Glossary — a plain-language reference for every term you'll see on a published board.

Schedules, operators & verification

These guides cover the practical side: when each operator usually publishes, who the operators are, who runs Keputusan4D, and how results are sourced, checked and corrected.

  • 4D Draw Schedule — which operators publish on Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday, which publish daily, and the usual publication times.
  • 4D Operators Directory — a short factual profile of every operator we cover, with a link to each one's results page.
  • About Keputusan4D — who runs the site, what it does and does not do, our independence and our correction policy.
  • How We Source & Verify Results — our monitor-capture-status-verify-correct workflow, what we do when sources disagree, and how to report a correction.

How to use this library

You can read these guides in any order, but most people find it easiest to start at the top and work down. The first two explain what a published result is and how to read one; the middle group explains how a board is laid out — its sections, its twenty-three positions and its display labels; and the last group covers schedules, operators and how we check our numbers. Every guide ends with a short list of common questions, and each one links across to the others wherever a term needs more detail — so if a guide mentions the Special section or the Final status, you can jump straight to the guide that explains it. The same library is published in three languages — English here, Malay at /ms/guides/ and Chinese at /zh/guides/ — and each guide carries a visible "last updated" date so you can see how current it is.

What these guides do — and don't — cover

These guides explain one thing: how to read and verify 4D results that operators have already published. They tell you what each section of a board means, when results usually appear, who the operators are, and how to confirm a number against its official source. What they deliberately do not contain is any advice on taking part — no forecasts, no number suggestions, and no advice on how to participate of any kind. Keputusan4D is a reading-and-verification reference, and these guides keep strictly to that purpose. For anything beyond reading a result, the operator's own official channels and the relevant authorities are the right place to look.

Reading results responsibly

Keputusan4D is an information service. We present published results as factual records to read and check, and we are independent of every operator we cover. Treat the boards here as something to read and verify against the operator's own official source, and refer to official operator channels and the relevant authorities for anything beyond reading a result. To understand exactly where our numbers come from and how a correction is handled, see our how-we-source & verify guide, which sets out our methodology and correction process in full. You can reach our editorial team through the contact page to report a correction, and our full policies are linked in the footer of every page: About, Contact, Privacy and Disclaimer.
